With all the Barber Salons in the city, sometimes you want a favorite list coming direct from the locals. With Yelp, you need to search for a place or know which place you want to look up, and then have to sift through pages and pages of reviews. I love yelp, but sometimes you just need the best places listed, nothing more. I want to start a list of your best experience with your hair. I want to know where YOU get your haircut, and maybe a little story on why you go there.

My Favorite now, is Public Barber Salon. This place was introduce by a co-worker of mine, and Steve (owner) is really really really good with hair. The guys dedication to his customers and employees is almost perfect. They also serve beer if you want, and they have local art displayed all along the barber shop wall.

My go-to place for an amazing haircut is Mercer Street Salon in the marina district. Lana is definitely the best hairstylist I have found in the city. I get compliments on my hair all the time. LOVE Lana. You will too!
