I have two bikes, and was wondering if Motorcycle clubs exist in the city? They are good for like-minded peeps who love to ride, and meet up around local spots. |

I am with Senor Craig. Try it out. http://sf-mc.org/ 2194 Folsom Street San Francisco, CA 94110-1320 (415) 863-1930 I found another called Survivors Motorcycle Club. I think their theme is sobriety and reform? You can email them and see what their deal is. Here is their website: http://www.survivors-mc.org/ and a contact email: survivordusty@gmail.com There's also Oakland Motorcycle Club that was rated pretty high on some review sites: http://www.oaklandmc.org/ 742 45th Ave Oakland, Ca 94601 510-534-6222 Homoto Motorcycle Club is pretty legit looking and got good reviews in places. It's a queer and queer-friendly group more about safety and riding with dues, officers and the whole shebang. sfstation has a good info site: http://www.sfstation.com/homoto-motorcycle-club-b24555612 and here's their blog: http://blog.homoto.us/ There are also a lot of others throughout the bay of varying degrees of commitment. Feel out what you like or are looking for under "like minded people." You can even start your own if you can't find one. This is a pretty web/tech friendly city and simple craigslist ads or other various postings can do a lot. |

If looking for groups to ride with and meetup with, there is a lot online these days. Check out www.bayarearidersforum.org. There are many motorcycle specific websites like www.ducatimonsterforum.org. Finally, there are region specific sites like south bay riders forum, central valley riders forum, etc. |

are the hells angels like minded peeps?
I would assume so.
The sf motorcycle club is around 16th and folsom and really does have a clubhouse. Not an outlaw group, just people from all walks of life that own bikes. Great for maintainence advice and parts. Anyone can join.
