San Francisco ranked #3 in the Forbes list of America's Hard-Drinking Cities. (It's clearly not just the tourists who are thirsty!) Similar to favorite bar / club lists, but this is specific to getting a great deal. I thought this would be a useful question because one of the big players in this area, My Open Bar, completely shut down their SF section. |

Dave's on Third has a great happy hour run.
Mission Bar (on Mission/23d) is also a good happy hour spot. |
