Oh, Frank's is still there alright. Busy and bustling as ever, with as many fun things as colorful characters. I'm pretty sure that Betty is still my favorite, the bearded, hunched over old dude who walks in at half-past any hour of the day to declare that, "It's beer thirty!" Which reminds me, I talked to him the other day, and apparently he ran into a tree and knocked himself out. Anyways, Frank's is still around, and they still have baklavah. Always haggle at this corner store, they're good people. |
