I don't have much of a sweet tooth myself, but when I want some top notch chocolate treats either for myself or to give to others, I always head to XOX Truffles in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. After 200+ reviews on Yelp, they're at 4.5 stars.

The thing that sets XOX apart is the variety. They have regular truffles, peanut butter truffles, lemon truffles, etc. I once found Early Grey truffles which were friggin' awesome. And, as I mentioned above, they make an awesome gift for anyone who isn't a diabetic.
