I have heard about this thing called a Fastpass that allows me to ride on all public transportation in the city, even the cable car. Where can I purchase one and how long does it last?

Yes, the city has passes that allow you to ride muni, some of bart (within city), and cable-cars. They have two types of Fast Pass: Adult A (all) for $70 and Adult M (muni only) for $60. I'm not sure if both allow you to ride the Cable cars
