Where are some good places to go hiking in SF or the bay area?

I would say Marin Headlands, and or Pacifica area. A great site for detailed information on Bay Area hiking, thanks to Piero Scaruffi.

Also Angel Island has little trails which are short but with a beautiful view. I find it's really good for families (little kids are really slow with short attention spans) because it'll be short and to the point but beautiful.

There are also some places in Oakland/Berkeley area I hear about but don't know a name for it.
