When using the “unanswered” tab, the questions browsed are already answered? Why does it show them? Is there a reason? Is there some logic behind this?

I have often wondered this myself.

Because unanswered is defined as "questions with no upvoted answers". Users will naturally not vote up questions, even if they are answering the question themselves.

Questions that are already answered, but have no upvotes can be found by clicking on the Unanswered tab (please vote them up, so we have have only unanswered questions in that filter.)

my take - if you are answering the question, it should be interestingly enough for a upvote.
