Zazie is definitely my favorite. Even though they're are many places in San Francisco I enjoy eating a burger, Zazie tops the charts. It's a French restaurant, but every item used to make the burger is perfectly selected to just tantalize your test buds. Don't believe me? Have one for yourself! + atmosphere is nice as well

Zazie Burger- w/white cheddar and tomatoes provençals, grilled yukon gold potatoes

Best O' Burger is a good option if you're in the FiDi. It's my personal fave because you the burgers are small (sliders). The operation is pretty fast, so you don't have a long time to wait if you are in a hurry.

Roam - is a great place for health conscious peeps. All their meat is grass fed, free range. They also use organic ketchup/condiments.

Pearls - was on Food Network's "The Best Thing I Ever Ate". Buns are fresh from Marin. They use rice brain oil for frying and have grass-fed meat too.
