OK, here's the situation: you have a friend that is going to be in San Francisco (and the Bay Area proper) for only 24 hours. What do you do? GO!

Angel Island in the morning, a little of Fisherman's Wharf and then Brunch in North Beach. Head to Haight for some shopping then ride segways in Golden Gate Park. Head to see Ocean Beach and either grab some coffee at Java Beach Cafe or ice cream at Polly Anne's on the way to Twin Peaks. Then head to Castro/Church, walk around, get some dinner. Head home and change for some night life. Start at lower haight, then (depending on the day) go to my regular spot and say hi to some people, then some TL, Marina, or Mission bar hopping (I'd say Mission because places stay open late). -something like that.

what type of friend is it? I would answer very differently depending on what types of things they like to do when visiting. (ie: do they like things like fisherman's wharf? or would they like more of a local's point of view?
