Favorite Movie Theaters

There a quite a few really big ones and really small independent ones. What are your favorites and why? Sometimes I like a little quaint establishment to enjoy my popcorn.

My favorite for car driving folks, would be Century 20 Daily City - parking is free too.

I like the theatre in the Metreon (4th/Mission). It has a wide selection of screens, and the crowd there is half the fun. Because of the proximity to Powell St., and the Mission area, you get tourists, local mooks, yuppies, etc.

I would say the Red Vic - located in the Haight-Ashbury, they always have really cool, indie films. Check out the showtimes.
