So, I'm out of town and I run into a small circus. There were carnies, dangerous rides, deep fried food, etc. I ended up meeting a female clown (stop your sick fantasies right there, weirdos), and we ended up chatting about her chosen career path. Apparently there is a well established clown training program in Southern California, and she is an alumnus. Does San Francisco have anything similar to this? Do we have a clown college? I know that Barnum and Bailey used to something similar in Florida (Steve-O went there), but I think it's closed. Does anyone know a professional clown? I know that Cirque De Soleil is here, and Teatro Zinzanni, surely there are clown educational resources! |

Well, of the top of me head there is the circus center on Frederick. They do classes for all levels. Shows too http://www.circuscenter.org/index2.html And then across the way (also on Frederick) there is Acro Sports http://www.acrosports.org/ Check them out, they both rock! |
