Refurbished Apple Products

I am interested in buying an Apple laptop, but after visiting the Apple store I am suffering a little sticker shock. A friend of mine suggested a refurbished Apple laptop, but they don't sell them at the store. Does anyone know where to get refurbished Apple products in San Francisco?
