Does San Francisco have a significant Libertarian presence? I know we are a free thinking city, so I was just curious.

There a couple groups around the city I can find. Their website has information on meetings, information on libertarian goals and legislation in SF as well as other news about the known libertarian SF people.

There's even a hit for a libertarian meet-up group in SF (which I'm not sure is active anymore). If nothing else it's enough to show that if you really want to make it happen, you can get the libertarian ball rolling.

Also, as commented above, there's a strong libertarian presence in the universities too. I have a freind that's president of the libertarian club at SFSU and he tells me all the time about the activities they do and such.
