Hi, Where can i go for parasailing, paragliding, hanggliding activities in near proximity of San Fransisco, Sano Jose, and Milpitas. Please let me know if these are available only on specific days/timings.

Thanks, KSK

Hi KSK - I'm not sure about the areas mentioned, but I do know of a great place north of San Francisco, called Hat Creek Rim. The area can have high winds, and unique landing situations, so they recommend only experienced pilots:

PILOT PROFICIENCY- Pilots flying Hat Creek Rim should have at least a United States Hang Gliding Association foot launched Intermediate Rating (or have the equivalent skills) and be proficient in; Restricted Landing Field (RLF), Turbulence (TUR), and Assisted Windy Cliff Launch (AWCL).

Good Luck on your search!
