Are there any urban agriculture practitioners in San Francisco? Any good community supported agriculture groups? I am interested in fresh, seasonal food.

There is supposed to be a large amount of urban farmers around these parts that I've heard of but don't really know much about. They range from the anarchist farmer movement to actual produce for sale. One group in particular that's very active and growing is called Little City Gardens that just recently were recognized for their tomato plants. Check them out here...

There is also Hayes Valley Farm that even accepts volunteers and teaches gardening classes.

And just taking into account the rest of the bay area as 'local' there are a lot of other opportunities for some fresh, local products; like Fatted Calf in Napa and Happy Girl Kitchen in Santa Cruz/Oakland.
